After careers in music, concerts, clubs and bars, as well as undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Law, Phil attended a short Screen Acting course in Spring 2018, before enrolling at the Identity School of Acting (home of John Boyega) in Brixton, South London.

While training at Identity, the Scottish Actor gained set experience as a support artist on feature films, small roles in TV series, adverts, short films and did recitals for Burns Nights.

Phil is also a professional guitarist with iconic 70s punk band Spizzenergi and writes for Louder Than War and Brixton Buzz.
In March 2019, he shot his first movie duologue at Nu Boyana Film Studios in Sofia, Bulgaria for American Night (2021) (Dir. Alessio Jim Della Valle). A scene he filmed with Jonathan Rhys Meyers and played with a 'second generation' New York Chinese accent!

In April, Phil auditioned as Banquo in his favourite Shakespearean play Macbeth. To his surprise an email arrived the next day from the Director asking if he would play Macbeth. So in May 2019, the Scottish Actor made his stage debut in The Scottish Play in the Lead Role at The Merlin Theatre, Frome, Somerset.

In June Phil signed with MSFT, Management in Stage, Film & TV.
